DRESSES

Where are Andria Bird gowns made?

Most of our gowns are produced in our in-house studio in Stonington, CT, and some of our pieces are produced in NYC. We take production & quality extremely seriously, so producing close to home is a non-negotiable.

What fabrics can I expect to feel when I try on Andria Bird gowns?

We craft our gowns using high-quality fabrics imported from Spain, France, and Korea. Stretch crepe, authentic Chantilly lace, French illusion tulle, and stretch silk charmeuse are just a few examples.

ALTERATIONS

Are alterations required on your gowns?

Our gowns, like most made-to-order bridal gowns, will always require alterations for a perfect fit. Your local retailer has excellent resources for finding a skilled seamstress.

CUSTOM

Do you make custom designs for brides?

Yes! Andria Bird began as a custom gown design house, and we love creating unique pieces for our brides. The custom process begins with a sketch & fabric selection, then goes to muslin draping & patterning, and ends with final fittings. Custom designs range from $6,000-$10,000 and do require you to travel to our Mystic, CT design studio at least twice. If you are interested in the custom design process, please inquire here.
